Baytown business owner says his property has been raided by burglars multiple times in past 3 months

Baytown, Texas – Multiple burglaries have frustrated a Baytown business owner whose property has been stolen multiple times over the past three months.

“It just keeps happening, happening, happening,” says Wolfgang Fischer, owner of IMC Hydraulics, in the 4500 block of W. Baker Road in Baytown.

According to Fischer, the most recent break-in occurred on Tuesday morning, knocking out power at his residence.

“Now, they’ve cut the wires and it’s happening again when we don’t have power,” he said, adding that on several occasions, surveillance video showed his company being attacked multiple times over several days .

He said he used the space to store equipment and filed multiple reports with Baytown police, but no arrests have been made.

Who these suspects are and why they haven’t been caught are two questions that elude Fisher.

“It was painful because we were going out to work and we had to come back and deal with this. It shut down the whole job. But more than that, it was thousands of dollars a day.”
