BIG3 is the first professional sports league to be certified by the Black American Chamber of Commerce as a Black-owned and operated business
Los Angeles, October 14 January 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Today, BIG3 announced that the alliance has been officially certified as a Black-owned and operated business by ByBlack and Black Chambers Inc. of America. The certification establishes the league as part of the ByBlack Network and distinguishes the BIG3 as the first and only professional sports league to be certified.

As a league focused on innovation, BIG3 has introduced several new improvements to the player and fan experience in its fifth season. The alliance has launched the first-of-its-kind Forever Experience Action Tokens (FEATs), which leverage blockchain technology to sell NFTs, offering ownership-like benefits and real-world experiences, redefining how teams and alliances use Web 3.0 technologies. Owners include the Axie Infinity member community – now the owner of the three-time champion trilogy – DeGods, Gary Weinerchuk and VeeFriends, Bill Lee and MyDoge/DogeCoin, Claus Houseand Snoop Dogg and co-founder of PayPal Ken Howery.
More recently, Ice Cube also co-founded a contract with the Negro Institute and a landmark partnership with the National Football League, allowing the league to invest and work directly with Black-owned businesses with more than $125 million Commitments and efforts are underway. Strategic partnership with Black Chambers, Inc., USA. Equipping BIG3 with a pipeline of direct connections to Black businesses at every stage, Black Chambers at the national level, and recognized national accreditation through ByBlack, all will support the coalition and its founders’ commitment to Black entrepreneurs.
BIG3 also introduces Heat Vision, an exclusive 3-on-3 shot-tracking software powered by Microsoft Azure and Noah Basketball Analytics, allowing BIG3 players and coaches to access real-time data on every shot, including arc, spin and depth.Last season also saw the Monster Energy BIG3 celebrity game, which included games like Rob GronkowskiNelly, NLE Choppa, Wallo267 and Gillie Da Kid.
