HASTINGS, Nebraska (KSNB) — In a life that’s feeling a little hungry, chicken wings are perfect for a new place on Grand Island.
Blazin’ Wings N More opened to the public Monday morning at 1023 West Second Street. While the business is new to Grand Island, central Nebraska is no stranger.
After living in Aurora for many years, they moved to Islander City. Boss Ernesto Franco said the move took longer than he expected.
“It’s been a tough journey,” Franco said. “We had to do a lot of construction since we got the building in July, so it took about three or four months to put everything together, and then just last week, I finally got all the permits done and we decided Open on Monday. We were supposed to open a month ago but there was no queue.”
As the name says, they serve more than just wings, they also have things like tacos and burgers on the menu.
