Chamber accepts nominations for Business and Tourism Personality of the Year | News, Sports, Jobs


Neu-Ulm – The Neu-Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2023 Business and Tourism Personality of the Year. Recipients of both awards will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual meeting in January. 26, 2023.

Best Enterprise of the Year

Since 1974, the Neu-Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce has recognized businesses in the Neu-Ulm area for their participation in the Chamber, community involvement and economic impact on the region. This year, two major enterprises will be recognized: one large and one small. The Chamber of Commerce asks the community to nominate a worthy business. Nomination forms will be accepted by December. 14. Among the nominees, the Chamber’s Board of Directors will select three finalists in each category: Large Business (more than 30 employees) and Small Business (30 or fewer employees). Voting will take place at the Chamber’s annual meeting on Jan. 1. 26. Each Chamber member company will receive one ballot. Winners will be announced that evening.

Travel Person of the Year

The New Ulm Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), part of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, is now accepting applications for the New Ulm Tourism Person of the Year award. This annual award recognizes an individual, couple or organization that has made a significant and long-term contribution to the economic health of Neu-Ulm by engaging in the field of tourism by attracting tourists to visit and discover Neu-Ulm.

Nominations are accepted by December. 20 and will be reviewed by the CVB Board. Winners will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual meeting on Thursday, January 1. 26.
