Listen to this free 22-minute webinar hosted by Elon University’s Martha & Spencer Love School of Business faculty and learn about the most prominent business topics in the industry today from Elon’s faculty experts.

Wednesday, October. On January 26th, the Elon community can listen to a free 22-minute webinar hosted by Martha & Spencer Love School of Business faculty members and learn from faculty experts on the most prominent business topics in the industry today.

In 22 minutes, the teacher will introduce ethical AI and its importance. We will focus on practical lessons and how we can build internal processes to protect consumers and communities. We will then have about eight minutes for a Q&A with the speaker. Afterwards, members of the graduate admissions team will answer questions about Elon and the MBA and MSBA programs.

About the speaker
Haya Ajjan is Professor of Management Information Systems, Associate Dean of the Love School of Business, and Sheldon and Christine Gordon Professor of Entrepreneurship at Elon University. She joined Elon in 2010 and teaches data analytics courses in the Business Analytics undergraduate program, MBA and MS. She was instrumental in developing the Business Analytics Undergraduate and Masters in Business Analytics programs.

Her research focuses on better understanding the impact of technology use on individuals, groups and organisations and has been published in journals such as the Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Operations Research, Business Perspectives and Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice. Ajjan received the Love School of Business Dean’s Fellowship and Service Award and was named a top 50 undergraduate business professor in the United States by Poets & Quants. During her tenure at Elon, she founded the Center for Organizational Analysis, Elon NEXT for Professional Development and Continuing Education Research, and the Elon Innovation Council. She teaches the Marketing Analytics Certificate Program in the School of Marketing Sciences and serves as a program officer for the AIS Decision Support and Analytics Special Interest Group.
