Felon arrested after crashing BMW, flees business

Hobe Sound, Fla. — Martin County deputies have apprehended a felon they say crashed his vehicle Saturday night in Hobie Bay and got away.

Seth Seidler, 18, of Port St. Lucy was taken into custody Sunday morning, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Seidler is wanted on an aggravated battery charge after the BMW he was driving crashed and ran behind a business on the corner of Federal Highway and SE Osprey Street, deputies said.

Seidler was arrested around 8 a.m. after evading authorities overnight, deputies said.

He now faces charges of reckless driving, resisting arrest and fleeing.
