The first images of Alec Baldwin on the Rust set have emerged since the film resumed after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot.

Baldwin is believed to be in Manslaughter charges against Ms Hutchins formally dismissed after his death.

However, the civil lawsuit against Baldwin will continue.

One of the images, shared exclusively with Sky News, shows Baldwin standing next to Joel Souza, who was injured in the death of a cinematographer filming in New Mexico.

Baldwin was rehearsing with a pistol when the prop gun rang out on October 21, 2021.

The actor said the gun accidentally went off and he didn’t pull the trigger.

Nearly a year and a half after the incident, filming has resumed, and Baldwin, in costume, is reading from a piece of paper about the new set, which has been moved to Paradise Valley, Montana.

A second, wider image shows him with a large crew.

Mr Souza remains the film’s director and said after filming resumed: “While it’s bittersweet, I’m delighted to have a talented and dedicated new production team joining the former cast and crew to finish what Halyna and I started .

“Everything I do in this film will be dedicated to honoring Halyna’s legacy and making her proud. Montana is more beautiful than words and the hospitality and kindness of everyone I meet is both humbling and Inspiring. It’s been an honor to work with our great partners who have seen it all on Halyna’s behalf.”

The Yellowstone Movie Ranch has a small western location with 28 different buildings, including a tavern, stables and jail, perfect for the story of a 13-year-old boy on the run with notorious gangsters.

Filming Continues on Alec Baldwin’s ‘Rusty’

Gloria Allred, representing Ms Hutchins’ family, issued a statement after the charges were dropped, saying: “Mr Baldwin should know that we remain committed to fighting and winning for our clients and holding him accountable for pointing a loaded gun at Halyna Hutchins, Pull the trigger and kill her.

“Mr Baldwin may pretend he wasn’t responsible for pulling the trigger and firing the live round that ended Halina’s life.

“He can run off to Montana and pretend he’s just an actor in a Wild West movie, but in real life he can’t escape the fact that he played a major role in a tragedy that There were real-life repercussions on her mother, Halina, father, sister and colleagues.”

The film’s weapons supervisor, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, still faces charges of involuntary manslaughter.

The case against Gutierrez-Reed is scheduled for an online status hearing in state district court Friday afternoon.

The hearing for Baldwin’s participation was canceled and there are no pending charges against him.
