Nov 17 (Reuters) – Hasbro Inc ( HAS.O ) said on Thursday it was seeking to sell part of its eOne production unit, which produces TV shows including “Yellow Jackets” and “Rookie” , as the toymaker looks to streamline its business and focus on its core brands.
The company bought eOne, maker of the popular children’s TV show “Peppa Pig,” for about $4 billion in 2019. Hasbro said Peppa Pig was not part of the business it was trying to sell.
Shares of Hasbro rose slightly in premarket trading.
