Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer and Rhea Perlman paid tribute to their co-star Kirstie Alley, who died at 71 after a short battle with cancer.
Danson, 74, played horny bar owner Sam Malone on the classic NBC sitcom, a character who endlessly tries to seduce Avery’s character, Rebecca Howe.
In a statement shared with entertainment news site Deadline, he said: “I am heartbroken and grateful that she always makes me laugh. I send my love to her children. They all know, they Her mother had a heart of gold. I will miss her.”
Grammer, 67, who plays psychiatrist Fraser Klein, said in a statement provided to the Pennsylvania News Agency: “I have always believed that the grief of a public figure is a private matter, but I will say that I love her.”

In a similar statement, Perlman, who played Carla Tortelli, the head waitress on the show, described alley As a “unique and wonderful person and friend”.
“Her joy was limitless. When she joined the cast of Cheers, we became friends almost immediately. She loved children and mine loved her,” the 74-year-old continued.
“We had sleepovers at her house and she created treasure hunts. She threw huge Halloween and Easter parties with the show’s entire crew and their families. She wanted everyone to feel included. She deeply loving her children.
“I’ve never met anyone like her. I’m grateful to have known her. I will miss her very, very much.”

Although Allie is best known for her role in “Cheers,” she also starred in a number of films throughout the 1980s and 90s, including starring alongside John Travolta in the romantic comedy trilogy “Watch Who is speaking”.
In a tribute posted on his Instagram account, Travolta described his relationship with the star as “one of the most special” he’s ever had.
Before adding: “I love you Kirstie. I know we’ll see each other again.”
In recent years, Avery has starred alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in the comedy-horror film Scream Queens. The actor, who shared a photo of the pair on the Hulu show, said she was “a great comedic foil and a beautiful mama bear.”
She went on to say that while they had to agree to disagree on certain topics, they had a “mutual respect and connection” when working together.
After starring in the 1995 American sci-fi horror film Village of the Damned, Ellie was described by horror film director John Carpenter as a “delightful actress”.
Vernon Reid, founder and guitarist of US rock band Living Colour, tweeted: “So many of us are feeling down right now. I can feel it. Kirstie Alley defines ‘relevance.’ Beauty and fun don’t come easy.
