Man faces multiple charges after two Memphis police officers injured in car crash – FOX13 News Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tennessee — A man faces multiple charges after two Memphis police officers were injured in a car crash.

The crash happened around 5pm on Monday near Summer and Graham.

When FOX13 arrived, an SUV could be seen hitting the side of an MPD car in the alley next to Grahamwood Cleaners.

Both officers suffered non-serious injuries.

On Tuesday morning, MPD confirmed that Jesus Aguirre had been arrested in connection with the accident.

According to police, Aguirre was charged with assaulting first responders, driving with a tag, evading arrest, violating financial laws, reckless driving, resisting official custody and violating vehicle registration laws.
