Richmond, Texas (KTRK) — Police are asking for help finding the person who shot and killed someone at a Richmond business.
The shooting occurred around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of S. 9th. Police were called to the area following a report of an armed robbery. At the scene, police found a man with a gunshot wound on the floor of the store, but police did not say which store it happened at.

Witnesses told police that someone entered the business, demanded property, and then shot and killed the victim. The suspect then took items from the victim and the business before fleeing.
The Richmond Fire Department and Fort Bend County Emergency also responded to help save the victim, who succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male of slim build. He is described as approximately 6-foot-3 and was wearing khaki pants, an orange safety vest and a shirt of an unidentified color. He also wore a mask, gloves, hard hat and sunglasses.
The victim’s name has not been released, according to police.
