After its first conference win of the season against Penn State, Michigan State returns to host the Ivy League Browns. Although the Spartans got off to a slow start, they quickly got out of the way and won the game 68-50.
As a common theme in 2022, MSU is again led by Joey Hauser, AJ Hoggard and Tyson Walker, all three of whom are in double figures.
Two milestones were also achieved on Saturday, with Joey Hauser scoring his 1,000th career point and Davis Smith, son of Spartan legend Steve Smith (Davis Smith) scored his first career point in a Spartan uniform.

Michigan State didn’t get off to a slow start in the second half, and the Spartans were hot at the end of the first half, quickly tying the game.
The Spartans built a lead of more than 20 and were able to bring in Steven Izzo, Davis Smith and Nick Sanders, which was very much to the crowd’s liking.
MSU eventually defeated the Bears 68-50.
Hauser led with 22 points, Hogggard had 17 and Walker had 10.
Michigan State will face the Oakland Golden Grizzlies on Wednesday, December 21 at 6:30 p.m. ET at the Breslin Center.
