Doha: Qatar University (QU), represented by the Faculty of Engineering, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for technology transfer and research with Spectre Solutions.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr Qu’s Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Omar Al Ansari, Polish Ambassador to Qatar HE Janusz Janke, Spectre Solutions CIO Sebastian Konkol and other officials.
“The collaboration with Spectre Solutions stems from CENG’s passion to provide exceptional research and consultancy services, activate community partnerships, and facilitate knowledge and technology transfer with Spectre Solutions,” said Tsang Dean Dr Khalid Kamal Naji.
He added: “The MoU we signed today confirms CENG’s ongoing efforts to expand the approach of bipartisan cooperation to serve local institutions, in line with the nation’s priorities towards a knowledge-based economy.”
On the other hand, Konkol said: “We are sure that we have found an important R&D partner in Qatar. We hope this MoU will be the basis for a long-term cooperation between Spectre Solutions and CENG. We have found a real partner in Qatar. It’s time Let’s build great technology together.”
