Richmond police looking for man who broke into local business and stole cash

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Richmond police detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man they believe stole from a local business earlier this month.

A man was captured on security cameras at the store on Thursday, Jan. 1, police said. At around 9:52 p.m. on the 5th, he entered a local business on the 6300 block of Old Warwick Road and smashed the door.

Detectives believe the individual returned just before 7 a.m. the next morning, entered the closed store and stole cash from the register.

The man was last seen driving a four-door black Toyota Camry with a provisional Virginia sticker: B51604. He also has the words tattooed on his left hand and wrist.
