Shot dead in reported attempted business robbery in Wyoming

Wyoming, Michigan — A 15-year-old was reportedly shot and wounded in an attempted armed robbery at a business on South End Avenue.

Wyoming State Police responded on Tuesday, November 11 at approximately 7:15 p.m. 1 to a business at 3530 S. Division Avenue, calling the police.

A short time later, police received a call that an injured teen was near the store.

The teenager was taken to hospital for treatment and was eventually told to be in serious condition.

Wyoming State Police said the teen was allegedly previously operating on South Division Avenue with two other people. Police were told they were involved in an attempted robbery.

Police did not elaborate on how the 15-year-old was shot.

The pair with the teenager fled the area on foot before police arrived.
