Tesla is recalling about 321,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to potential problems with taillights, according to a document released Saturday.
The Texas-based electric automaker said the recall affects some 2023 Model 3 and 2020-2023 Model Y vehicles.
tesla The company said it has not received any reports of crashes or injuries related to the recall.
The company is understood to be providing an over-the-air update to correct an issue that caused the taillights to intermittently fail to come on.
The move came to light after filings with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
It comes just days after the automaker recalled roughly 30,000 Model X vehicles because of a potential front passenger air bag that could improperly inflate and increase the risk of injury.
Earlier this month, the company recalled more than 40,000 Model S and Model X vehicles because power steering assist could be lost after driving on a rough road or hitting a pothole.
In 2022, Tesla reported 19 U.S. recalls involving more than 3.7 million vehicles, according to NHTSA.

Tesla director James Murdoch recently said in court that Mr. Musk had identified a potential successor to lead the company, but did not name them.
