TikTok ‘bones, no bones’ star dog Noodle dies — millions of fans flock to mourn | US News

More than 2 million fans of TikTok’s famous pug have marked the social media star’s death, flooding the owner’s page with messages of condolence.

Noodle the pug shot to fame on the platform for “No Bones,” a game his owner Jonathan Graziano plays almost every morning, noting whether Noodle will stand up or simply fall back into his dog’s bed.

When Noodle failed, Graziano declared it a “no bone” day — and advised his audience not to take the risk. But when the Noodle stood up—which came to be known as “Bones” Day—it was reason to celebrate.

But the tearful owner of the 14-year-old announced his death on TikTok on Saturday.

Graziano, red-eyed and choked up, said: “I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but Noodle passed away yesterday.

“He’s at home. He’s in my arms, it’s unbelievably sad, it’s very difficult. I always knew this day would come but never thought it would come.”

Graziano’s “no bones” video garnered millions of views and his account grew to 4.5 million followers.

Fans on Twitter also wished Noodle farewell, hashtagging “BonesDay” and commenting on Graziano’s video, expressing their condolences.

Doug the Pug wrote: “RIP Noodle The Pug. A great friend and a pug who spread joy to millions. May it always be a ‘Bones’ Day.”

“Noodles impact a lot of people – he makes their day and week better. He’s amazing,” one fan commented on Graziano’s TikTok, which has more than 1,000 likes 2.4 million times.

Earlier this year, a children’s book starring Noodle was released.

Graziano concluded in his tribute post: “I want to encourage you to celebrate him as we go through grief.

“He made millions happy – how awesome! Thank you for loving him.”
