Tissenbaum ’17, Named New Voice of Sports Business Magazine’s Under 30

Charlotte, NC – As announced in last Monday’s publication, Harvard women’s hockey alumni Molly Tissenbaum ’17 has been named to Sports Business Journal’s New Voices Under 30 for 2022. A former Crimson goalie, Tissenbaum was honored for her work at the Sports Innovation Lab, where she served as Product Director. Sports Innovation Lab is a global sports market research and consulting firm that helps sports organizations understand who their fans are and how technology can change their behavior.

The Sports Innovation Lab was founded in 2017 by Angela Ruggiero ’02-04, another former Harvard women’s hockey alumnus. Tissenbaum was one of Ruggiero’s first employees when he opened his research lab in Boston.

Thyssenbaum was a four-year member of the Landry Family Harvard Women’s Hockey Head Coach, Katie StoneYes, crimson. The Toronto, Ontario native played several key games for Harvard during her senior season, including against Princeton (Nov. 11, 2016), where she made a career-high 50 saves at the crease. Tissenbaum also won an Ivy League Award in the Academic category in 2017 for his work on ice and in the classroom.
