Goodfellow was charged with aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident causing death, tampering with evidence and reckless driving.
Phillips’ family filed a civil lawsuit against Goodfellow, alleging she was physically injured in the crash and that she “conspired to hide, hide and ultimately destroy the car” in a parking lot of her father’s.
