WAYNESBORO, VA (WHSV) – Small Business Saturday means supporting unique stores in the area, whether they are brand new or closing. The Nice Consignment Shop in Waynesboro was closing down, but wanted to dress smart.
The consignment shop owner has decided to retire. Clothes, accessories, and everything on the shelf is on sale for as little as $1.
Harmony Floyd is the granddaughter of the manager and owner. She said there are plans for another store to take over the space soon.
“It’s going to be second-hand clothing, though, which is a little different than what we do. It’s not going to be consignment, it’s second-hand clothing, so if you like what we have, you might like what’s open here next ,” said Harmony Floyd.
The last day of Nice doubles as December 23rd. Staff want customers to come and say goodbye to the consignment store.
