Valley rental business booming ahead of Super Bowl LVII

Phoenix (3TV/CBS 5) — When demand for vacation rentals is high, prices go up. The Valley can be a popular destination, but in the week leading up to Super Bowl LVII in Glendale next February, vacation rental prices will hit a whole new level.

Rental prices will be sky-high, if you can find one. Take the three estates available for rent in North Scottsdale that have at least 10,000 square feet behind a guard-gated entrance on 38 walled acres. All rooms can be rented by night, perfect for celebrities, athletes and the wealthy.

How much cash? Staying in one of these homes during Super Bowl week can cost between $16,000 and $18,000 a night! It’s not just about booking a house.

“Once they book, we get to know them right away…we find out what they like, what they don’t like. We set up a custom welcome basket for them so when they get here, they’re ready to go,” says House and Home Tony Mohrman of Vacations explains. “We have a concierge to take care of them, but also arrange for a private chef or massage therapy, which is a hot item.”

The main building, visited by Arizona-based home anchor Scott Pasmore, boasts a theater room with a giant projector screen, game tables, a bar and a pool that rivals a luxury hotel, There is also a lazy river. There is also a guest house totaling over 16,000 square feet under roof.

The company manages about 30 homes, Moorman said. Two larger houses have been booked ahead of the big game. To see properties on offer, check out HouseAndHomeVacations.com.
