ROCKVILLE, Md., March 3, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Xometry, Inc., the global online marketplace connecting enterprise buyers with manufacturing service providers, today announced the promotion of Matt Leibel to Chief Technology Officer and the appointment of Brendan Sterne is Chief Product Officer. Randy Altschuler, CEO of Xometry, announced the appointments.
Leibel joined Xometry in 2019 and has played a key role in the continued development of Xometry’s proprietary artificial intelligence algorithms, fintech and cloud-based software solutions.
Sterne, a product scaling specialist driving market share and revenue growth, joins Xometry as Indeed’s Chief Product Officer. He most recently served as general manager of the company’s jobseeker division, responsible for product, design, software engineering, and operations for the digital talent marketplace, which serves more than 250 million jobseekers each month. During his 9 years at Indeed, Sterne also launched and ran the in-house innovation fund and startup studio Indeed Incubator.

Before joining Indeed, Sterne held various product and engineering roles, including leading Bazaarvoice’s Innovation Labs group, developing media-rich product reviews and review intelligence products for Fortune 500 clients.
