Pork Chop Automotive opens with special offers for first responders and veterans

A new auto service center opened this week on the southern tip of Macon County. Pork Chop’s Automotive officially opened at 519 Middle Skeenah Road on Monday. Owned and operated by Stacey Holbrooks, the mechanics working at Pork Chop’s Automotive have over 30 years experience in the auto repair and service industry.

The shop offers a wide range of services including oil changes, tuning and brake repairs. Any mechanical issues, Holbrooks and his team are ready to help.

But what sets this store apart is its dedication to giving back to the community. Holbrooks reserves service discounts on specific days of the week for veterans and first responders. Veterans, veteran spouses, veteran widows and active-duty military members can get free oil changes with the purchase of oil and filters at the store on Mondays, while first responders get the same discount on Wednesdays.

“I understand the challenges these people face every day,” Holbrookes said. “I want to do my part to express my gratitude and support for the service they have provided to our community.”

Pork Chop’s Automotive is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm. You can reach them at the store at 828-634-4008 or directly through Holbrooks at 828-371-9123 after hours.

To help working families and community members, For Chop’s automotive offers a vehicle pickup service, where a crew will pick up the vehicle from your home or workplace – have it serviced – and return it, as easy as possible.

“We’re excited to be a part of this community and provide high-quality auto service at an affordable price, and we’re proud to give back to the veterans and first responders who give so much to us,” Holbrooks said.
