Man wanted after Covington shooting, police say – FOX13 News Memphis

Memphis, Tennessee. – The Covington Police Department is looking for a man in connection with the shooting that left one person injured.

Police say the incident happened around 4.30pm at 213 Boals Street, Covington.

One victim was taken to the Memphis Regional Medical Center in critical condition, according to police.

Detectives are looking for Jordon “Jo Jo” Grant, of Feezor Street, Covington, for questioning, police said.

Grant fled the scene on foot, according to CPD. Detectives have not confirmed what car he was driving from the area.

Police said the shooting was due to an argument over money.

We want to prevent the shooting from leading to any other violence. said Chief Donna Turner.

“Anyone with information about Grant’s location, please call E911 Central Dispatch 901-475-4300.

“We are actively looking for Grant or anyone he may have had in the company in connection with the shooting. I urge Mr. Grant to do the right thing and turn himself into a detective. My prayers are with the victims and their families,” Turner said.
