Two 14- and 16-year-olds shot dead outside Tennessee apartment, police say – FOX13 News Memphis

Dyersburg, Tennessee. – A man has been arrested and four others are wanted for attempted murder after two children and a 19-year-old were shot outside an apartment complex in Dyersburg, Tennessee, according to the Dyersburg Police Department.

Dyersburg police said the gunshots occurred on Price Street around 9 p.m. Friday, September 23.

According to police, two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, and a 19-year-old walked out of the apartment when several people started shooting at them.

The trio fled in a vehicle before the two teenagers were taken to hospital in another vehicle, police said.

The 19-year-old man was not injured in the shooting.

Troubled Thomas, 20, was arrested by police around 3am on Sunday after they caught him on Harris Street.

Thomas was charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder.

Damarius Neal, 22, Camron Hopkins, 24, and two 17-year-olds from Dyersburg are also wanted in connection with the shooting, Dyersburg police said. Dyersburg police said they all have warrants for attempted first-degree murder.
